The returning Warhawks started a little slow, but never trailed, and defeated the host Eagles 47-25. We had a "four-point shot" tonight when Aubrey Close hit a 3 while being fouled. In both summer leagues the free throw is automatic with running clock. Stats later.

Playing the Warhawks this summer is like a box of chocolates. We played Holy Names on Monday at Keswick. 5 days later we play them again. The Warhawks' roster of 10 will have 60% turnover. Talented wing players Kaitlyn Hallock and Olivia Fleetwood will make summer debuts.

11 Warhawks made the trip over the Skyway Bridge & got better today despite 2 losses to Holy Names and Braden River. Seminole was missing 4 returning starters from L.Y. but played the Pirates even in 2H of 2nd game. Aubrey Close, #3, was 🔥 in that final 20 minutes. Games

I stayed at Braden River and enjoyed the 3PM game too. Two of Pinellas County's finest, St Pete and CCC, played again and once again there was a fantastic finish. The Green Devils roared back from a 9-point halftime deficit to win by 1.

Eleven Warhawks returned to Braden River and lost 42-40 to Lennard HS in the noon game. Seminole stormed back from 1H deficit and missed a 3 in final seconds and a free throw (counts 2 in this format) with 1 second left.

In game 2 we used gimmicks, Jedi mind tricks, fought hard and kept it close for a while against the favored St. Pete Green Devils. Great effort and execution of the plan by the young Warhawks. The game was much closer than the final score, 50-27, would indicate. Freshman guard
