You can't punish pain out of people. Treating addicts as moral degenerates and incarcerating them is not the solution. Despite the challenges posed by their behavior – lying, cheating, and stealing – addicts often possess immense creativity and care.

Remember, don't get lost in woundology. While it's important to share our stories and pain, they shouldn't define us. Increase awareness and consciousness, but don't use past hardships for sympathy. We all face pain and challenges; understanding this is key.
