It's interesting, we were forced to pay the Water Companies nearly £5bn more a year in April, which will be stolen and definately not spent on the network. But we can't afford to pay the Doctors £0.7bn a year because it is unaffordable.

80 years ago today Clement Attlee became PM, he founded the NHS and built record numbers of homes. He was one of the best British PM's, strange that no-one talks about admiring his legacy. But then there is no profit in Council Houses and Public Healthcare.

Clement Attlee nationalised Rail, he nationalised Steel making, he nationalised Power and Fossil Fuel, he built record numbers of Council Houses and he nationalised Healthcare founding the NHS. All in 5 years, starting with record levels of debt.
