BBC needs a clear out of Boris Johnson’s extreme right wing political appointees who control the BBC and platform Farage and Reform ahead of any other party

I am loath to criticise my former BBC colleagues and I’m aware they weren’t in on the story. But the idea of a TV presenter losing his job being the top story on the website as opposed to Parliament being kept in the dark for two years about the Afghan data leak is risible.

BBC and Sky are going to great lengths to avoid pinning the Afghan data breach on the Tory government. Just saying "the government" rather than specifying which party. This was a Tory government mess -again.

So, the leak happened under the Conservatives under Boris Johnson (Quelle Surprise!) and was covered up under Liz Truss's 45 days and then Sunak. All Labour appear to have done is (correctly) appraise and ensure the minimum risk to those involved. What am I missing here?
