🎤 “Respectful Maternity Care (RMC) data and evidence is key in facilitating midwifery as a practice to improve efficiency and ensure better pregnancy outcomes” says Stephen Yambi | MPDSR Advisor E4A-MamaYe during #IMNHC2023 session by World Health Organization (WHO) AlignMNH

It’s been amazing to hear of the wonderful results the RMNCAH Network is able to achieve through the #E4ASeedGrant The team has successfully pushed for inclusion of MPDSR action points into the annual county work plan in Bungoma- triggering the ‘R=Response’ Options Consultancy Services Ltd

This clearly demonstrates growth and steady graduation of RMNCAH Network to full transformation. Through political economy analysis as an advocacy tool, this network is finally at the table for policy decisions. E4A Mama Ye Kenya will continue to provide TA thr' Stephen Yambi

Community Health Promoters play an integral role in facilitating the work of Community-MPDSR committees. Today in Mayanja Dispensary Bungoma County Ke we had a consultative engagement exploring platforms of delivering targeted messages on maternal and newborn health issues.

Our E4A - MamaYe team is hosting a peer learning meeting in Kano, Nigeria 🇳🇬 this week, with gov't, civil society + the media to share successes + challenges from our advocacy interventions to advance #MaternalHealth. Follow E4A - MamaYe to learn more.

11 State Led Accountability Mechanisms (SLAMs)-Nigeria shared their advocacy journey with health stakeholders today. Present among others were reps of FCDO & BMGF. They registered happiness with the work of SLAMs that over the years has been supported by E4A - MamaYe .

It's really amazing to hear how #E4Aseedgrant has supportrd the MNH Coalition Kenya to position themselves to win donations from potential funders + Safaricom Foundation. The many proposals they have submitted some of which despite being unsuccessful, have improved brand visibility.

#E4ASeedgrant has increased RMNCAH Network bargaining power. Local implementing partners have identified them as a go to grassroots advocacy network. Living Goods and @jakarandahealth have collaborated well with the network in their RMNCAH advocacy initiatives in Bungoma.

This is amazing. If you need additional resources, E4A - MamaYe has developed materials on coalition building. Please visit mamaye.org and get this global public good through the resources drop-down, GPG, then coalition building. We can also provide mentorship.

This is really amazing. It will be great to learn who is funding the healthcare in Kenya. It is in my dream to see zero or minimal out of pocket expenditures as we embrace the social health insurance as recently introduced by the government. Kenneth Macharia Options Consultancy Services Ltd

I salute Kanze Dena Mararo, CBS, EBS for that great Advocacy. Your asks were very clear and targeted to the right audience. We thank the president William Samoei Ruto, PhD for the swift action. This is a show of respect to the rule of law. The retired president must be treated with dignity.

A great start it was. Most of these guys have since transitioned to other places, but the health systems have permanently remained to better serve women, children and girls. It's been a great journey!! MNH Coalition Kenya and RMNCAH Network were born during this journey. Sustain it.
