Congratulations to Max (S5) who won the Atelier Gallery 'Young Emerging Commercial Artist 2025' Competition with her beautiful entry titled 'Oma's House'. She is now preparing gallery for her mini feature exhibition show, which will be taking place later this year.

This is one of the oldest school caps in the Heriot's Trust Archive. The silver thread tassel and decoration show that this cap was awarded in the early 20th century for sporting excellence, usually in cricket or rugby. #HeriotsHistory #ThrowbackTuesday

Heriot's S3 chemists have been studying alcohols as part of their N5 course. They visited Glenkinchie Distillery to understand how a Lowland style malt whisky is produced using 3 main ingredients (water, barley, yeast) by malting, mashing, fermenting, distilling, and aging.
