It was a pleasure to host Gen. Kenneth F McKenzie Jr for a discussion on his new book, “The Melting Point: High Command and War in the 21st Century." It was a packed house in Mortara Center as we heard about the General's time as the Commander of U.S. Central Command.


Earlier this month, GU Security Studies hosted a summer institute for students from Historically Black Colleges and Universities. The summer institute is designed to give students a taste of what it means to study and work in the field of security studies.
