Great day today at the Cork LGBT+ Pride parade with friends, colleagues and at Cork City Fire Brigade. Despite the weather, there was a great turnout with a sea of colour ๐, smiles and fun.


Thank you to all of the amazing organisations who supported NationalServicesDay around the country yesterday. A very special thanks to my dedicated team of Community Engagement Officers who coordinated events in their areas. A great day was had by all, the hard work paid off ๐

Say hello to the new Autism Assistance Dogs IRL ๐ฎ๐ช๐พ puppies - including little Nas! Each of the services was tasked with naming a puppy, who at 8 weeks old have just begun their training with families around Ireland. Event held at AADI HQ in Cork with Ger O'Dea, Cian O'Callaghan and Ian Ring.


This morning I joined colleagues from Cork City Fire Brigade and Cork City Council to remember those who died on Irish roads this year as part of World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims at the North Cathedral. Deputy Lord Mayor Oliver Moran lit the first candle of remembrance.
