Returning artifacts acquired during the colonial period is a priority for π©πͺ. We work closely with countries of origin to ensure their return to their rightful homes. π©πͺ gladly co-sponsored the UN resolution led by Greece to the United Nations . Its consensual adoption is an important step forward.


Ever more important that we could adopt the Humanitarian Omnibus Resolution by consensus,following challenging negotiations.Thanks SwedenUN πΈπͺ! We staunchly support the intβl humanitarian system, remain strongly committed to intβl humanitarian law & the protection of aid workers.

Colleagues from OHCHR UN Human Rights, New Zealand and Vanuatu presented an engaging and moving documentary on youth activism for climate. Germany was glad to provide the venue, reflecting our commitment to partnerships in #ClimateAction and #HumanRights.

Ahead of the #UNSC meeting on #Iran's nuclear commitments as set out in Res. 2231, the E3 Germany in the United Nations, La France Γ l'ONU π«π·πΊπ³ UK at the UN π¬π§πΊπ³ warned of the urgency of the Iran nuclear crisis. Iran must change course, de-escalate, and choose diplomacy.




Seconded by Zentrum fΓΌr Internationale FriedenseinsΓ€tze (ZIF), Public Prosecutor Stefan Schlotter of Germany was one of two judges sworn in for the Special Criminal Court in the Central African Republic. He is charged with the investigation of serious crimes and the achievement of justice in Central African Republic.
