Fascinating visit to the #Orkney Islands where I heard about the ambitions & current projects in the field of #renewable energy, esp. offshore wind, tidal energy & smart solutions for decarbonisation! I was also impressed by the rich cultural life, esp. the Pier Arts Centre.

Very much looking forward to the football match Rot-Weiss Essen vs Hibernian Football Club this Wednesday in Edinburgh! A very special friendly will mark 70 years since the two football clubs played against each other in the first ever European Cup (now UEFA Champions League) in 1955!
