The majority of all law of the sea cases today are decided by the Int‘l Tribunal for the Law of the Sea - even when they initially began as arbitration cases. There could be no greater sign of trust States have in the jurisprudence, but also the efficiency of International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea.

Bold step forward at the special session on the review of the amendments on the crime of aggression. States Parties explicitly agreed on a concrete timetable to strengthen jurisdiction of the Int'l Criminal Court #ICC on the crime of aggression.

Important consensus decision taken on 9 July by States Parties of the International Criminal Court: Committee to strengthening the #ICC’s jurisdiction over the crime of aggression, dedicated process to this end. The German delegation is pleased that it could further this outcome.
