I had a good call with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy / Володимир Зеленський today. I welcome and support the 30-day ceasefire. Europe will remain by Ukraine's side, with the aim to strengthen its hand at the negotiating table, and help bring about a just, lasting and comprehensive peace.

🇪🇺 75 Years of the Schuman Declaration 🇪🇺 On 9 May 1950, Robert Schuman put forward a bold idea: unite Europe by pooling coal and steel production to make war ‘not merely unthinkable, but materially impossible.’

I can’t think of a better time and place to sign our 🇪🇺🇲🇩 Growth Plan than here in Chisinau on Europe Day. The plan is our biggest support package to Moldova yet and a clear sign that we want to see a prosperous & free Moldova firmly anchored in our Union. 🤝 Moldova poate!

Today, on #EuropeDay, we mark the 75th anniversary of the Schuman Declaration – the first step towards today's EU. In today's geopolitical climate, the EU remains a pillar of stability, protection & prosperity—shown in our #EUEnlargement partners wish to join the 🇪🇺.

No anthem played over Red Square today can cover the sound of justice coming. Today, on Europe Day, a special tribunal for the Crime of Aggression is launched in Lviv. Justice for Ukraine begins to take shape. Justice is the foundation of a long-lasting peace.
