The #Seleucid & #LateRoman #Euphrates fortress at Djazla, 43km SE of Raqqa in #Syria, was surveyed by Napoli in 1990. It looked much the same in February 2014, but by July 2015 (images 2014 & 2017) its defences had been razed and its interior bulldozed. #Endangered #Archaeology
