The team led by .Héctor Sucilla Pérez convened a south-south learning exchange with PEPFAR, EQUIP Health Ghana & the Global Fund to explore best practices in their HIV programming. EQUIP’s hands-on model with CSOs in 29 districts across three regions in Ghana shows real promise.

Making waves for a greener Ghana   As part of the UN's 80th anniversary activities, we joined other UN agencies in a beach cleanup exercise at the Regional Maritime University to clear plastic waste and debris from our shores.   Together, we can make our oceans clean and safe.

The team spent the week supporting the Global Fund Country Portfolio Team's visit to 🇬🇭. Various stakeholders were engaged on the prioritisation of this year's grant with life-saving care, community-led monitoring, data systems, and human rights emerging as 🔑 priorities.

🌊 In commemoration of #UN80 and #WorldOceansDay, UNFPA joined the UN Country Team in Ghana for a beach clean-up at the Regional Maritime University. This initiative aimed to raise awareness about the harmful impact of plastic waste on our oceans and the environment.
