Staying with visits but moving somewhat closer to home, Reception had a fabulous time at the library this week!

Reception celebrated the start of #EURo2024 in style on Friday with sandwiches and football, ably assisted by some Year 6 coaches!

Open Evening was a great success last night with some lovely work from International Week on display - thank you to children and staff for putting it all together and to parents for attending to celebrate your children's work!

Year 6's Leavers' Assembly was a wonderful way to cap off 2023/24. We are so proud of all they have achieved in their time here - academically, personally & socially - as we are of all our children at GPPS. We wish all in our community a restful break & will see you in September!

We are looking forward to welcoming children back to school and to meeting all the new faces, both in Reception and across other year groups - here's to a happy and productive 2024/25!

We have had plenty of cycle training going on this term with Cycle Confident, ranging from Learn to Ride sessions for all year groups, through to Year 5-6 children achieving their Bikeability Level 2 certification, to prepare them for riding independently on the road.

Reception have been making fruit salad, inspired by Handa's Surprise!
