This week Year 5 got to spend some time in Lab-13 being curious camels about Space. They are now confident in understanding how Day and Night occur and how the Moon orbits the Earth using Lego people and spin chairs to demonstrate - Space Rocks! #STEM #Science #Space

Y4 treated the whole school and their parents to a lovely performance of part of the opera, 'The Magic Flute' by Mozart. They sang and performed three songs from the opera beautifully and dramatically. #music #musiceducation #opera

We created freeze-frames for the big fight scene in our whole class text, Floodland. We shared what our character was saying, thinking or feeling at that point in the story. We then used these ideas to writes quotes that can be used in our newspaper reports.

Y4 visited the Gunnersbury  Park Museum for a fun and interactive Roman workshop. They discovered what life was like in Roman Britain. Some got to dress up and others got to handle real Roman artefacts from the museum’s collection that are thousands of years old. #History
