At what room temperature should we keep mice to provide optimal translation to humans? We have measured metabolic rates across the range from 20-30 oC and conclude 25.5 to 27.6 is best for C57BL/6 mice. Now online at Molecular Metabolism Keijer et al doi.org/10.1016/j.molm….
