#ESMO23 Dr. Gerard ZALCMAN presents the RTEP-7 / IFCT 1401 trial: radiotherapy boost to 75 Gy based on PET at 42 Gy for stage III NSCLC. Approach seems safe, feasible. Encouraging local control rates. Larger studies warranted?
Randomized non comparative phase II whois(L,3)(💙,🧡)🛸❤️ RTEP7. During chemo-radiotherapy, a petscan after 42 Gy helped to plan a boost (66 to 74 Gy) when there was a residual uptake. This strategy improves local control and OS, without additional toxicities. #ESMO23
Personalized radiotherapy (Boost to 74Gy based on FDG-PET at midcourse of chemoradiotherapy) is effective and safe for inoperable stage III #NSCLC IFCT-RTEP7 P2R 158 pts (77.6% 1y control rate after RCT, PFS, OS), presented by Gerard ZALCMAN #ESMO23 #PHRC CentreHenriBecquerel Philippe Giraud
