Period poverty is the lack of access to menstrual products, education, hygiene facilities, or waste management. It means having to choose between food and pads. It means missing school or work because of something as natural as a period. It means stigma, shame, and silence.

Addressing period poverty goes beyond education. It’s about access to resources. Today we distributed #ThriveBeyondBarriers kits to 50 girls at Busumbala School. Each kit contains: 3 Reusable pads 2 Cotton underwear 1 Instruction sheet 1 Storage bag #MHDay2025 #EndPeriodPoverty

We’ve successfully wrapped up our 6-day ToT for 51 teachers in the NBR on SRHR using a game-based learning approach. The training concluded with individual presentations, where teachers demonstrated how to facilitate game-based learning sessions on sensitive and taboo topics.
