🚨In addition to Humboldt-Stiftung 's Philipp Schwartz the GSO posted a comprehensive options list for #scholars at risk to come to 🇩🇪 Calling on Germany-based PIs/researchers: please share GSO's post🙏 Also: Have a spare room at your place? Register it here👇 tinyurl.com/mua9ca5y

Happy that we’ve resumed shipping/installing CVD systems! This one shipped to Max Planck Institute of Colloids and Interfaces🇩🇪🇩🇪in January and was fully setup last month. It is Max Plank’s 2nd system and is supporting Paolo Giusto’s excellent work on organic semiconductors.🔬🔬#graphene #2dmaterials #2dresearch

Exploring the "Photoactive Space" of Triazine based COFs - from the fundamental discovery and understanding of Red Edge Effect to its application in Chromoselective Photocatalsysis. Check out our new article in Nature Communications & congrats to all authors! nature.com/articles/s4146…

Looking forward to kick-off this great project with @InnovativMPIKG and Barham Lab. If you are interested in developing new thin film catalysts for #photoelectrochemical conversion of N2 into molecules, apply here ✉️[email protected]; 👉more info bit.ly/3Ht34iy

Finally after more than 2 years back to an in-person conference, The British Carbon Group we are coming! 🥳👨🔬 Evgeny Senokos Oguzhan Eren Zihan Song Paolo Giusto #carbon2022 #london #imperial #college

📢Job offer: Our group leader Paolo Giusto is looking for a #postdoctoral in the field of materials science & chemistry with major interests in materials synthesis & photocatalysis. Sounds interesting? Then please apply directly until October 31: 🔗bit.ly/3Rl7ZoQ 👈

The CATART Project aims to realize a reaction robot that tailors photocatalysis and separation technologies relevant for sustainable chemical production in a single device Stay tuned to know more about us!

Team assembled!🎉 Looking forward to take on #photoelectrochemical 🔌💡N2 fixation to hi-value organics w/ heterogeneous #catalysis as part of DFG priority programme SPP2370 w/ @InnovativMPIKG, 2D Covalent Thin Films &our new PhD students! Thanks for a great kickoff meeting🙏 Marschall☼Lab

She will spend several months Max Planck Institute of Colloids and Interfaces under the guidance of @InnovativMPIKG & 2D Covalent Thin Films learning heterogeneous catalyst synthesis & surface characterization techniques. Daria already met her MPI co-supervisors & partner-in-crime Gabriel. Best of luck for the PhD!😊👍

All good things eventually come to an end! Yesterday was the last day of the visiting stay for Yen Han Wang in our group Max Planck Institute of Colloids and Interfaces, it was a great pleasure to have you here! Next step:👩🎓! All the best and thanks for the great time!

What a start of 2023!🥳🔋 Our last publication is out on J. Mater. Chem. family A! Here, we show how a few nm conformal #coating of carbon nitride can enhance the performances of a carbon anode (+30% capacity) in #sodium #batteries. Check it out!👉bit.ly/3VSXifE #thinfilms #MPICI

Our work on BCN materials has been recognized as one of the most cited paper from 2020-2021 in J. Am. Chem. Soc.! Congrats to all the authors for the amazing work once more! Max Planck Institute of Colloids and Interfaces 🙏🥳👨🔬 have a look! 👉pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/ja… #jacs #semiconductor #thinfilm #mpici
