We'll get nowhere if nimbyism like this is allowed to dictate the direction of Dublin City. The knocking value off local properties argument is a cod too, in fact venues like this can add value to surrounding properties #culturalplacemaking rte.ie/news/business/…

Disappointing from DCC but unsurprising based on rollout of toilets at Stephen's Green, which are also inaccessible at night. Unless Govt fund DCC to do it, it seems that little to no nightlife/NTE investment will come from the council in our capital city 😐 #giveusthenight

As nightlife continues to struggle badly, there's no even partially valid reason to delay the licensing bill any longer. Should be published and enacted as soon as possible. Micheál Martin Simon Harris TD Jim O'Callaghan TD Patrick O'Donovan rte.ie/news/health/20…

This is great news for all of the venues involved, well done to all 👏 And big thanks to the Dept and Patrick O'Donovan for supporting. The scheme itself was very oversubscribed as mentioned here, so let's hope this can be re-run again soon 🙏

According to Ciara Power and co-founder Sunil Sharpe, the recent Give Us The Night report paints a grim picture of Ireland’s steeply declining nightlife but emphasises that urgent action can still revive a scene full of potential. fourfourmag.com/give-us-the-ni…

Great news, for many sectors, not least nightlife. Let's hope this is the last we hear of this, and that premiums can start to noticeably drop. The cost is still one of the top challenges for the operation of nightclubs.
