We had a great time at our Mr Wippy Roadshow event on Sat 3 Aug. Lots of children learnt how to build their own bottle oven out of sand and we still have the large sand sculpture on display.

🥳Happy Potteries Bottle Oven Day! ⏪46 years ago today a Potteries bottle oven was fired for the last time. 🔥Bottle kilns were the heart of pottery making, firing our local economy and culture. ❗️They're part of the reason we were granted city status in 1925. #SOT100 #PotBOD
