We have a Swannay van doing an ad hoc run from ~Glasgow to ~Aberdeen. If anyone on that route would like some direct beer, we currently still have space!

In every city there are dozens of nondescript pubs that nobody would greatly miss if they were revamped. Why do people insist on wrecking the good ones? (Best wishes to Shaun & Maxine on retirement btw, it's not their fault)

If you’re quick you can read it before the bells – my Golden Pints of 2024 refreshingbeer.blogspot.com/2024/12/my-gol… Or read it afterwards, or not at all, it’s all the same to me. Happy new year when it comes.

Don’t be duped by the hand pull ! Masquerading as cask conditioned ale! Agreed? 🙈This beer is filtered at the ‘beer factory’. The yeast is removed - and stops fermentation before delivery. The usual unscrupulous marketing tactic by behemoth brewer, Carlsberg. 🤬

There is just one important piece of info in this article, and that is that the team are quitting a pubco-owned pub and looking for a freehold instead. If only The Mirror had delved into that, this article could have been so much more. Campaign for Pubs mirror.co.uk/3am/celebrity-…
