It's been a great 3 days of all-you-can-imagine science at #PlantBio2023 #ASPB 🌱🌾🍅🌻 After months in the making tomorrow is finally the day for the plenary on intercellular communication that Sessen Daniel and I organized! If you love microscopy come check it out 🔬🧬
Huge congrats 曹珉 Min Cao!!! (and the rest of the gang, of course)🥳
A dream of our lab has been to image the full central dogma from a single endogenous gene, all live and with single molecule resolution. After many years we are happy to unveil a beautiful cell line that makes it possible. Check out our preprint (biorxiv.org/content/10.110…)! (1/n)
For everyone playing with Google DeepMind's alphafold3, has anyone tried doing an in-silico DAPseq for all TFs genome wide? Hopefully the model will be out soon and we can give this a run
Plat tweeps going to ASPB #PB24, want to learn more about machine-learning pipelines for imaging data processing? Matías F. Gleason and I are co-organizing a workshop on quantitative imaging approaches for plant biology, featuring Avilash Singh Yadav and Simón Alamos. See y'all in HI!
Excited to share my insights on imaging and quantitative processing in this ASPB worshop session organized by Sessen Daniel & Matías F. Gleason. See you all in Hawaii, imaging enthusiasts!
Are you attending ASPB PB24 in Hawaii? Do you like imaging and transcription dynamics?Sessen Daniel and I, with the incredible help of Simón Álamos and Avilash Singh Yadav, have put together an incredible workshop training you to analyze transcriptional imaging data, join us!
Our new paper is out in The EMBO Journal! We found an answer to a decade-old mystery: to sustain neurotransmission, how can we retrieve synaptic vesicles within 100 ms? The answer lies in a gene that we, bilaterian animals, have created, making synaptic vesicle endocytosis extremely
Had a great time at Howard University Department of Biology presenting my research and talking about the PhD program at CSHL School of Biological Sciences with Dr. Michael Passalacqua. And got to meet the fantastic Arif Ashraf too!
