📅ON THIS DAY: Catley wins WBC title👑 ⏪Back in 2000 Glenn Catley dramatically stopped Markus Beyer in Frankfurt to become a super middleweight world champion💪

Sky Sports Boxing Glenn Catley One of the ever best wins from a Brit fighter abroad, Beyer was unbeaten at the time and had beaten Richie Woodhall. Still don’t know how Beyer got up from that knockdown, was a huge shot!

Sky Sports Boxing Glenn Catley The most under appreciated British world champ ever. Robbed v Woodhall, KOd Canadian Lucas in Canada, then KOd unbeaten hometown champ Beyer to win title. Only lost title in S. Africa as Thobela had loaded gloves. Then robbed x 2 v Haussler in European title fights, also abroad.
