Dr. Esther Atukunda, Project Director SUPPORT-MOMS PROJECT UGANDA discussing how to grow research career; pointed out mentors engagement, consistency, ready to learn. Set clear milestones, collaborate & engage. Emphasis was on 5Ps; Plan, Practice, Perseverance, Preparedness & Persistence.


The recent K43 NIH grant awardees at Mbarara University, Dr. Edwin Nuwagira Dr. Edwin Nuwagira and Dr. Prossy Bibangamba shared their research journeys highlighting their engagements with mentors, grant applications, their success stories and challenges.
