Great start to the Army Cadets UK Well-being Conference. Army Cadets Head of Wellbeing led with theme of Empower, Energise and Elevate. The care of our cadets and adult volunteers improves with understanding of diverse needs and great potential. Col Van- Tam focusing on leadership under pressure

An announcements in the Strategic Defence Review that is worth emphasising; We have committed to a 30% increase in cadet numbers. We should not underestimate the benefits of the Cadet Force. It’s fantastic for social mobility providing opportunity to hundreds of young

What did you do with your weekend? We took our senior Cadets past *that* cattle grid and on to the magical place beyond. Cracking weekend. They even let me play. And I appointed a new CSM for Salamanca Coy. #itsourhobbytoo

What did you do with your weekend? Visited B Company on an old RAF airfield in the Cotswolds that has been used for years for Cadet exercises. Bit of urbex, some peaceful woodland, beautiful countryside, lots of fieldcraft.

We’re delighted that Government funding, has meant 300 schools in marginalised areas can now access DofE, and we also look forward to working with Minister Catherine McKinnell MP and @DfE to shape an enrichment framework to benefit young people. We’d like to thank Phil Brickell MP for

Could not happen to a nicer person. Me personally and my County have benefitted from the advice, guidance and direct support of LtCol Diss. Always going out of her way to help, to do the right thing. Brilliant news.
