It was a privilege to join the Mayor of Luton and @javeria79h at ⁦Guru Nanak Gurdwara Luton⁩’s Soup Kitchen this evening. It was a privilege to meet the incredible volunteers and to help with the distribution of food. This is a great example of community action when the state is failing.

A humbling experience today in helping out with the Guru Nanak Gurdwara Luton in their weekly soup kitchen on the Vaisakhi weekend. Over 200 hot meals and toys (thanks to KidsOut) handed out. Joined by John Tizard, @Javeria79H #luton #lutonmayor
