The NASCAR Cup cars are on track at Michigan International Speedway. They are on the same RS tire they ran at Michigan last year with a different LS tire (compound change for more grip and falloff). Cup teams had 1 set of tires for practice and 1 set for qualifying.

The NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Trucks return to Michigan International Speedway for the first time since 2020. Teams have 4 sets of Goodyear Eagles for their 125-lap, 250-mile race (noon ET on FOX: NASCAR Motor Racing Network). Stage breaks are at lap 30 and lap 60.

NASCAR Cup teams are on a tire setup at Michigan International Speedway today that includes the LS tire they ran at Charlotte two weeks ago and the RS tire they ran at Daytona and Talladega earlier in the season.

NASCAR Cup teams have 7 sets of Goodyear Eagles - 6 race sets plus their qualifying set - for today’s 200-lap, 400-mile race at Michigan International Speedway (2:00p ET on Prime Video & Motor Racing Network).

Compared to 2024, Goodyear brought a different LS tire to Michigan for Cup cars this week (compound change for more grip & falloff). The change resulted in more speed, based on a pole speed of 195.514, compared to the pole speed in 2023 (qualifying rained out in 2024) of 193.382.

The NASCAR Cup cars have two practices scheduled at Mexico City this afternoon (4:05p & 5:30p ET). They are on the same tire they ran at Circuit of The Americas earlier this season. Cup teams have 3 sets of tires for their practices.

There is some rain in the forecast in Mexico City for the weekend. Goodyear has its 18-inch wet weather tires on hand for the Cup cars, should NASCAR deem that conditions are right.

.NASCAR Xfinity gets on track at Mexico City for practice & qualifying at 11:05a ET. They are on the same tire they’ve run at all road courses since the beginning of 2024. Xfinity teams have a total of 6 sets of tires for their event (they will turn in 2 sets before their race).

The NASCAR Cup cars will qualify at Mexico City at 2:05p ET. They have 1 set of tires for the session, which will transfer into tomorrow’s race allotment.

NASCAR Cup teams are on Goodyear’s primary road course tire at Mexico City, having run it at COTA in March and scheduled to run it later at Sonoma, Chicago and Watkins Glen.

With some potential for rain at Mexico City today, Cup teams could race on Goodyear’s wet weather tires, should NASCAR determine that conditions warrant.
