Latest ep of the Podcast is live featuring Dale Prax of FreightValidate, where we discuss his history in trucking and freight, and what solutions are available to clean out the dodgy operator epidemic in trucking. You know where to find it.

A lot of this can be traced to the never solved and decades long problem of detention. We wouldn’t need so many trucks, and less of them would be sitting around waiting for loads, if detention didn’t waste so much time and capacity. When I was a ‘young guy’ I was doing 4000

I'd think a 90 day time-out for any company who knowingly puts ELP non compliant or Medically Unfit drivers on the road, or those with no work authorization, would put a stop to all of this right quick. Its one thing to pound drivers, its another to pound those who employ them.

Where I live there is one legit Mexican joint called 'Old Mexico' which serves huge portions heavy on the meat, located a couple of miles south of town on the 13 strip. Then there is Viva, right downtown, Hipster-ish, vegan options, staffed mostly by tattoo'd white girls.

Québécois Camionneurs have been dealing with this forever, and usually send drivers to the US who have some basic English proficiency so they can read signs + deal with cops, DOT, and their customers. The persistent freak out by Wokies about this rule is ahistorical nonsense.

I have attempted several times to get trucking insurance people to speak with me for the book, and most are unwilling to go on the record; what secrets they hold would be very revealing about the state of the industry.

Everyone freaking out about this guy quitting CBC for blocking his bookings of 'Conservative Voices' and I'm over here like the CBC participated in a cover up of the fact we have political prisoners in Canada (so did the rxtxrds at National Post) and actively smeared the Coutts 4

It’s amazing how some people uncritically accept blatant corporate propaganda simply because it has been repeated at high volume for decades.

I love it when these ‘news organizations’ word things in a way that is deceptive or just stupid. The order requires re-enforcement of an 80 year old law that never went away; also, fewer fake insourced truckers is good for *real American* truckers and their families.

Canada is quite like Australia, in that despite Canada not being established as a Penal Colony, Canadian rulers still act like Prison Officers who treat the citizenry as criminals. If the Laurentian Elite were completely vaporized tomorrow the world would be much better off.

"They pay good wages. They are desperate for workers. Can't find them. They voice a common problem about the ones they do find: They don't know how to work." Have you considered the idea they are not paying good wages? We keep having this same conversation every week.
