So proud to announce that together with the University of Melbourne and University of Copenhagen we found that IgG and plasma protein N-glycosylation changes at the onset of type 1 diabetes, which is published in Diabetologia and freely available at doi.org/10.1007/s00125….

N glycans on plasma proteins and IgG are changed in children at onset of type 1 #diabetes compared with their healthy siblings and correlate with age at diagnosis. Our study is now published in Diabetologia. We identified genes driving altered N-glycosylation of plasma proteins and IgG we found earlier in new-onset #type1diabetes and revealed potential underlying molecular mechanisms. rdcu.be/c7r8r Olga Gornik's lab Croatian Science Foundation
