Formally presented our Gubernatorial candidate in the 2023 elections to our leader and President, HE Muhammadu Buhari. Dr Dikko Umaru Radda, Ph.D. CON. won the primary election held on Thursday 26th May 2022.

On behalf of myself and the entire Katsina State APC Nigeria family, I wish to heartily congratulate Biodun Oyebanji on his election as the Governor of Ekiti State in yesterday's polls. This is another clear manifestation of APC's acceptance by the good people of Nigeria.

Visited the Ajiwa water plant for an assessment of ongoing rehabilitation works. 80% of our set target has been met, now set for 100% completion by December 2022. The Dredging of the Dam, Installation of Power Generators, Water Clarifiers and Highlift Pumps have been completed.

The emergence of Kashim Shettima as the running mate of Bola Ahmed Tinubu is in no way surprising to those of us that have been following and participating actively in the running of affairs of our great party the APC Nigeria. He is an astute politician, very dependable and reliable.

Despite financial challenges, we are determined, more than ever before, to provide all that it takes to bring terrorism to a logical end. Today, we donated nine APC vehicles to the security personnel saddled with the responsibility of the fight against #terrorism in the state.

To rejuvenate the machinery of governance, we have today, sworn in Alhaji Bature Umar Masari and Dr Dr. Bishir Gambo Saulawa as the new Chief of Staff and Commissioner of Youth and Sports respectively. We wish them Allah's guidance in the discharge of their responsibilities.

We have today signed the 2023 appropriation act into law, thereby giving the state a Budget of N298.6B for the year 2023. This is our last budget as an administration and we hope it benefits our people and gives a sound foundation for the incoming administration. Alhamdu lillah.

Received HE the President-Elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the Umaru Musa Yar'adua Airport Katsina, on his way to meet HE President Muhammadu Buhari at Daura. He is being accompanied by the National Chairman of the APC Nigeria Sen Abdullahi Adamu, Speaker Femi Gbajabiamila and some state Governors.

Attended the first meeting of the Nigeria Governors' Forum after the 2023 general elections. Proceedings were directed by Governor Aminu W. Tambuwal who is the Chairman of the forum.
