I don’t keep up with politics enough to know anything about this guy. But, on this topic, he is hammering the truth. It’s about money, not about improving education for over 5 mil Texas kids. It’s sad and embarrassing.

After 8 hours of hearing from paid lobbyists, they just shut down additional public registration on the voucher bill. WHY? Over 70% are registered to speak in opposition to the voucher scam. They are silencing real Texans. Listen to all witnesses, no matter how long it takes.

Bought, paid for, and totally out of touch with his constituency! Yep, that’s our Governor. Nothing more than a puppet.

Greg Abbott I have questions…. 1. Why haven’t you visited any public schools/parents? 2. Mandates come from the TEA Commissioner who is accountable to only 1 person-you. Why don’t you remove some mandates? 3. Will “Every” eligible student be accepted to the private school of their choice?

School leaders want teachers to be sensitive to the home life of their students. Well... they need to be sensitive to the home life of their teachers. They deal with divorce, depression, family illness, and other stresses that have a profound impact. Teachers need compassion too.

There’s never been a time in history when public schools have had the resources and support needed to provide the best education possible. And teachers and staff have never been paid what they’re worth. Maybe we can try that—before burning it all down.
