Kneeling in solidarity. Worth noting that several groups were giving out snack bags, water, masks and gloves, and squirts of hand sanitiser. #BLMLDN #BLMLondon

A v interesting webinar today on diversity within the LGBT+ community, thanks BPS- Gender, Sexuality and Relationship Diversity Adam Jowett. It's such a heterogenous group - eg LGB issues are often different to T. As always in psychology, it's important to look at the individual rather than their label/s.

I was pleased to hear @ProfRJaspal & Adam Jowett discussing the direction of cause/effect for poorer mental health outcomes in LGBT+ people in today's webinar. The minority stress model makes so much sense - growing up in a compulsive heterosexuality context can be so harmful.

Thank you to PsyPAG @PsyPAG2021 for providing such a supportive space for me to present at my first ever conference (in the back of a car! 😂)! A great experience, and brilliant to receive such positive feedback. I'm looking forward to working on getting my research published...

PWP retention is already a huge problem. Limiting career progression and contributing another barrier to the DClinPsy (with no warning, so no informed decisions can be made by applicants) is not the answer. Increase support and salaries, decrease caseloads. #HEE #dclinpsy
