After a wonderful day at work my car died in Fort William. Luckily Green Flag will take it home and I am getting the last train to Helensburgh!

Oh ! A tired day! My Dash walk was wet, but i did do the final voice over for the climate change podcast and did write a lot! Up at 4.15 am tomorrow!! Yuck!

Lovely to be down at my Mum's in England. Down here for a week!

A wonderful day. I am drinking so much less nowadays, through necessity, sleeping a lot, wandering and writing. This is very good.

My niece, Ella and her Polish fiance, Mati, have been here for a few days. They make things all the time to earn a living, and while they do this they sing and talk. A reminder that life could be different.

Walked about four miles to Newhaven. Still impressed my 88 year old Mum can do this. Brilliant day!

Lovely to be shortlisted as patient contributor of the year at the Royal College of Psychiatrists awards but very relieved to be relaxing now. Off back to Scotland tomorrow.

Well today was one very long train trip. Hence blurry pictures of countryside. Delighted to be home. Dash the dog is sleeping beside me and Wendy is on her way home!

Walking up at Kilmahew Castle. So good to be home. A lazy day, writing, making French onion soup for the family. I am very very fortunate.

Been a good day! Mainly writing, cooking and walking Dash the dog. Even as a bonus Dad it is funny and scary when a lost Louie is wittering on the phone to us while trying to find her friends in the nearby town!
