Aviation is an important application for sustainable fuels, because the energy needed to move a large jet long distances can only be supplied by a liquid fuel. Drop-in, sustainable fuels, which require no modification to aero engines are the shortest route to decarbonisation.

The GreenFlexJET project solution combines #renewable and #sustainable #aviation #fuels production with effective treatment of dried and liquid organic wastes. This project is the first SABR-TCR® demo-plant with #flexibility of: - #feedstock, - #scale, - #operation, - #product.

The GreenFlexJET #demonstration site will provide techno-economic validation. Data from the plant will be used to validate #social and #environmental #sustainability of this approach. The project will be a showcase of the impact on the #aviation #industry in Europe & beyond. ✈️
