Today in the Lords ... We continue with the Employment Rights Bill. One group of amendments is about more protection for whistleblowers. Workers rights must include the right to challenge wrongdoing, and be protected from repercussions. It's possibly another late night. ☹️

Whistleblowers perform a valuable service - they can reveal criminal or dangerous behaviour. They can save lives, prevent lives being ruined, and improve conditions for everyone. We hope the Govt will meet us and agree a way forward to include such amendments in the Bill.
