Excited to share our preprint about "Bursting Translation on Single mRNAs in Live Cells" biorxiv.org/content/10.110… by Nathan Livingston Nathan Livingston and Jiwoong Kwon, in collaboration with JianLiu-Theoretical Cell Physics Lab, Green Lab and Taekjip Ha

I am thankful to all my students, postdocs and lab mates, my mentors (Green Lab, MPI Bioinformatics Toolkit (MPI for Biology), Vukic Soskic) as well as Test Account, @WUSTL, @WUSTLCellBio and David Piston ⚡ for this promotion. We'll continue with new discoveries, teaching and support for scientific community

Turns out MutS2 just doesn’t cut it ✂️ despite it having an SMR domain! Our latest collaboration with the Beckmann Lab characterizing the role of MutS2 in splitting stalled ribosomes in B. subtilis. biorxiv.org/content/10.110…

Our work "Bursting translation on single mRNAs in live cells" is now published on Molecular Cell. sciencedirect.com/science/articl…. It is incredible when working with such an amazing group of people, Nathan Livingston, Jiwoong Kwon, JianLiu-Theoretical Cell Physics Lab, Green Lab , Taekjip Ha.

Check out our new preprint in collaboration with Jingdong Cheng lab about how LARP1 senses the abundance of non-translating ribosomes to help cells decide whether or not to make ribosomal proteins! biorxiv.org/cgi/content/sh…

It’s official! MutS2 still doesn’t cut it. Congrats Esther Park and Beckmann Lab! embopress.org/doi/full/10.10…

We’ve captured the splitting image of Slh1: our work on an enzyme that splits collided ribosomes in E. coli is out on bioRxiv! Huge thanks to the Beckmann Lab, Burroughs, and Aravind for a great collaboration. biorxiv.org/content/10.110…

Excited to see our LARP1 manuscript published at The EMBO Journal. We show that LARP1 directly binds non-translating ribosomes and TOP mRNAs. An excellent collaboration with the Jingdong Cheng lab! embopress.org/doi/full/10.10…
