Can't believe what I'm hearing. Swift bricks aren't even controversial. They're a cheap, easy way to restore our dwindling bird population. Yet neither Tory Minister, nor Lab opposition, will commit to make them mandatory. What planet are they on?? RSPB Hannah Bourne-Taylor

Swift bricks are cheap, low effort, and vital if we want Swift numbers to recover. So why won't Minister Dehenna Davison and Shadow Minister Matthew Pennycook MP support making them mandatory in new housing? Their failure to do so is an utter disappointment.
