The Grand Finale Centre — an integral seniors hub for connection & wellness — is now officially recognized as a Seniors Active Living Centre.   Our $50K investment supports expanded programming at Emo’s Knox United Church, strengthening community ties for seniors in the Northwest

Having strong, skilled care teams is key to helping children & youth with autism thrive in the communities they call home.   Our additional $800K investment through the OAP’s Workforce Capacity Fund ensures FIREFLY and Kenora-Rainy River Child & Family Services can continue making a difference for local families.

The opening of the St. Louis Early Learning Child Care Centre is an exciting time for young families in Keewatin. With 15 new childcare spaces and incredible community partnerships, we are creating opportunities for children & setting them up for success — right from the start.

The Ignace Recreation Centre is more than a home to local sports teams – it’s where community-driven partnerships take root.   Today’s $935,550 investment through the Community Sport & Recreation Infrastructure Fund will keep this space safe, reliable & welcoming all year-round.

Members of the Dryden OPP Detachment are looking forward to their new detachment, here in Ignace.   Announced yesterday, this state-of-the-art facility will ensure frontline officers have the space & resources they need to protect families across the region. Congrats, OPP North West Region.
