We get reach-ins to both tiny and comma asking for unpaid internships. But between the lines, they are asking for education. Unpaid isn't cheap enough, look at the price of college. Everything you need is on GitHub and Discord. There's nothing stopping you except discipline.

New Ilya Sutskever (Ilya Sutskever) video dropped yesterday. <Dr. Ilya Sutskever, Honorary Doctor of Philosophy Degree for the Year 2025> "...the idea that an AI can build the next generation of AI. The intellgence explosion. Holy moly, what do you do about that?"

Friday night, I’m debugging collectives and listening to Metallica. I feel like leaders could learn something from Metallica. Over and over again I learn the lesson that leadership is earned. It is not given by a title.

Students often ask me what to read to learn about systems. I say, "read code". If you want to learn databases, read postgres source code, not a textbook. If you want to learn ML frameworks, read PyTorch source code.

It's hard to describe the feeling of seeing the company I founded on this slide next to XILINX 20 years after staying up all trying to understand bitstreams, but I'm working on it.

I sent the following message to our team and investors: — As you know, Daniel Gross’s time with us has been winding down, and as of June 29 he is officially no longer a part of SSI. We are grateful for his early contributions to the company and wish him well in his next

I've been a bit quiet on X recently. The past year has been a transformational experience. Grok-4 and Kimi K2 are awesome, but the world of robotics is a wondrous wild west. It feels like NLP in 2018 when GPT-1 was published, along with BERT and a thousand other flowers that

How can an LLM generate many tokens in parallel? This video from the diffusion forcing paper has a very intuitive illustration. boyuan.space/diffusion-forc…

Just tried going to Rocky Mountain national park in Colorado and got denied due to a timed permit requirement. I guess the parks service are now theme parks.

Today, we’re launching Beyond CUDA, a new monthly interview series hosted by TensorWave co-founder and Chief GPU Officer, Jeff Tatarchuk. This series is about the next wave in AI: open-source, permissionless, unconstrained. Each month, Jeff sits down with the builders pushing AI
