Grenoside Primary Science Club have been investigating 'Walking Water'. Water moves via capillary action which is the ability of a liquid to flow upward, against gravity, in narrow spaces. This is how water can travel from a plant's roots to the leaves. #SPARKbox #STEMunity

Great morning Sheffield Wednesday Community with the Y5 boys football at the schools community Cup. They loved playing on the Hillsborough pitch.

Grenoside Primary years 3 and 4 went to Grenoside Green today to learn about the bees and other insects that live there and see how the Green has changed since our visit in October.

Grenoside Primary Science Club's last session, by popular demand, was making volcanos. We experimented with different ratios to get the best effect!

Grenoside Primary Y4s made animal skeletons out of natural materials today to find out more about how they are similar to human skeletons. They found lots of similar bones. #primaryscience
