The Dog Point property is not only a vineyard. It also operates as an authentic working farm, with organic philosophies at the centre. Over the winter months, 2,500 sheep and 25 steers are brought onto the property to control grass & weed growth & add organic matter to the soil.

We got on the telly for our work combining certification for Toitu carbon net zero,@BioGroNZ organic and regenerative viticulture. Maybe we will see more vines in nz trained this way soon ( so the sheep cant eat our grapes )
