Congrats to the Jazz Ensemble on their performance at the NJAJE MS Jazz Festival. The band received its third “Best Trumpets” award of the season and Ire Talabi received a “Best Soloist” award. Congrats on a great season! WeAreHTSD Grice Middle School

Mr. Bonomo and Mr. Wilmot participated in #HTSDDecisionDay2024. Mr. Bonomo is an alumnus of Ithaca College (Ithaca, NY) and Mr. Wilmot is an alumnus of West Virginia University (Morgantown, WV). Both studied Music Education.

Once again, former Grice band students made the HHW top 10. Congrats to Emma-Lee, Nataly, and all of the class of 2024!

Mr. Bonomo’s Summer Band Workshop Camp begins tomorrow. It’s not too late to sign up for week 2!

Last week was a busy week for our program. We had our first Jazz Ensemble rehearsal of the year, our junior student teachers came for their first weekly visit, and we had our first Wind Ensemble rehearsal of the year.

The Grice Band program will be having a fundraiser at Checkers on 11/14. 10% of all orders on this date will be donated to our program. No flyer is necessary. Please share and spread the word!

Come check out the Band Winter Concert at 6:30 PM tomorrow (12/12). The concert will feature the 8th Grade Band and the Symphonic Band.

The Grice MS Jazz Ensemble and the Hamilton HS West Jazz Band had a joint rehearsal on Monday, 2/10. It was a great experience for the MS students to hear the HS students and interact with them.
