HOLT, Sling pool area. Grey Plover (winter) 2 LR Plover, 1 Dunlin, c 14 Redshank, 11 Shelduck, pr Stonechat, 2 White Wagtail, numerous Skylark, few Lapwing, Gadwall, Teal, Shoveller, Chiffchaff, Linnet, Willow Warbler and 5 Buzzards.

Holt 5pm. Pr Garganey still, in the east willow carr of Sling Pool and Garden Warbler west end by entrance. On the flash 4 Redshank, 1 Stonechat, 1 Common Tern, 2 Yellow Wagtail and Lapwing with 4 newly hatched chicks.

Fields next to my garden in Wichenford, Worcs, have been cut today for sileage. This produced a visit from 4 Red Kites and 7 Buzzards.

Grimley CLP mid pm. 1 Hobby, 1 Redshank, 2 Common Tern, c 100 Swift, 36 Lapwing, numerous House & Sand Martins, and Reed Warblers, Green Woodpecker and 2 Stonechat. Also still nice to hear Cuckoo calling.

Grimley this morning. 9 Common Tern, 2 GW Egrets, 4 L Egrets, 1 Hobby, plus Kestrel, Buzzards, Reed Warblers, Reed Buntings, 77 Mute Swan, 4 Grey Heron, 52 Lapwing, few House/Sand Martins, Swallows, Swifts, Raven, LS Woodpecker, 19 Cormorants and Sedge Warbler.
