The garden is crawling with visitors 🦗🕷️ Just as we plant different produce for the seasons, there are always new insects that make their way to the gardens during different times of the year. Every time we see a new critter, it's a learning opportunity for our students!

We are beating the heat with Solar Nachos! Students will explore a series of energy stations where they can observe models of energy at work. When students understand that nature is doing the work for us, they can make sustainable choices while enjoying a snack!

🌈 Eating the Rainbow, Straight from the Garden! 🌱 TK students went on a rainbow scavenger hunt in the garden and harvested the rainbow to taste! We tried zucchini, rainbow carrots, rainbow chard, purple kale, radishes and sugar snap peas!

🥳 Salad Party! Today, we’re modeling how to gently harvest our lettuce leaves and prep them for a tasty, nutritious wrap. 🥕 Students took a moment to draw what their "tummy beasts" are telling them throughout the day, and the importance of eating a well-rounded meal!
