As part of our Love My River Project, Grozone staff and volunteers have been working with Biomatrix and staff from The Environment Agency to build and install a floating habitat island on the River Weaver by Baron’s Quay. A great team effort 👍

We have had a huge flower pot clear out!! Anyone who wants to come and collect flower pots for free for their garden, please come and help yourselves! We are open Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from 10am until 3pm, plenty of pots for everyone!!

A brilliant, sunny day at Grozone- cabbages are planted out, a fantastic set of pallet shelves completed and nettle string stage 1 completed (just drying ready for stage 2) — feeling happy

As we wrap up our Brightlife Cheshire project- here’s a few of our highlights. The best bit has been seeing the intergenerational transfer of knowledge, skills and energy- just incredible 🙂

The allotment plot is looking amazing, veg is flourishing and Steve’s signs helping us see what’s growing 🙂

Wonderful afternoon doing Lino printing, inspired by the garden and taught by the wonderful Sue Marsden. I am sure you agree that the results are beautiful 🙂
