With funding from Siemens Foundation and Universität München, we conducted a pilot research activity to explore the feasibility of producing and using reusable sanitary pads.

The activity was carried out in partnership with local organizations — Tacts Uganda (Mukono) and Gufasha Girls Foundation (Kayunga) — who supported coordination and implementation on the ground.

It is disheartening that in some communities, girls' education and rights are not valued, but together we can change this. #EmpowerGirls
