Our CLIMBFUN project has been granted Agencia Estatal de Investigación! 3 years to study how 💩🪲dung beetle diversity and ecosystem functions change through time, along elevational gradients ⛰️, and how climate change influences these insects. First paper of our DUNGPOOL Project is out! This is also the first paper of Almudena Dueñas-Rojas PhD thesis! As expected, diversity of dung beetles is low, and includes introduced species. Will these poor communities be able to sustain the basic ecosystem services? More to come!
