This week, kindergarten students at our Hugh Cole Elementary School and Guiteras Elementary School created leprechaun traps in hopes of capturing one over the holiday weekend, and our Rockwell Elementary School wore their “lucky” green clothes 💚 Happy St. Patrick’s Day from your friends at BWRSD! 🍀

Last week, our 5th grade engineers were given a project to create a device that will allow a hard-boiled egg to land gently when dropped from a significant height. The most successful prototypes were dropped from the top of Bristol FD’s ladder engine truck!

Spring has sprung! 🌷 In the fall, 5th grade community service club members at Colt Andrews Elementary School , Guiteras Elementary School , and Rockwell Elementary School worked with members of the Bristol Garden Club to plant nearly 750 daffodil bulbs at the schools. 🌼

Our 5th grade students recently celebrated Colonial Day, a Guiteras tradition dating back many years! Students dressed as people did in the 1700s and spend the day learning what life was like in for colonists living in the 13 colonies
